Solutions

ImerNet offers customized solutions to address client requirements. We tailor solutions to solve complex business problems for our clients and also offer a broad range of solutions through our industry partnerships . Our solutions implementation methodology is based on two major concepts:

  1. Project management processes
  2. Product-oriented process

The project management processes describes, organizes, and completes the work of the project.  The product-oriented processes specify and create the project’s product. There are eleven knowledge areas within the process groups.

The ImerNet project management processes are based on the Project Management Institute (PMI) project management method.   Our product-oriented processes are based on industry standard software development methodologies and include:

  • INetWeb for web site design
  • INetSys for systems development and integration
  • INetServ for network services

The project management framework has five Process Groups and eleven Knowledge Areas.  The process groups describe a generalized view of how the various project management processes commonly interact.   The Knowledge Areas describe project management knowledge and practices in terms of their component processes.  The project management process and product-oriented processes overlap and interact throughout the project.

  • Initiating – authoring the project or phase
  • Planning – defining and refining objectives and selecting the best alternative courses of action to attain the objectives that the project was undertaken to address
  • Executing – coordinating people and other resources to carry out the plan
  • Controlling – ensuring that project objectives are met by monitoring and measuring progress regularly to identify variances from the plan so that corrective action can be taken when necessary.
  • Closing – formalizing acceptance of the project or phase and bringing it to an orderly end
